Recognition of Prior Learning

If you already have relevant skills and experience that will match with what is required in the unit standards that make up the requirements of a National Certificate, you will be able to get recognition for these skills.

If you have already learnt or know how to do something you will not have to do it again. But you will need to prove your ability by outlining your:

• Industry experience
• Relevant skills and experience
• Employment history
• Existing qualifications

and proving to an assessor you have these skills by being assessed against the appropriate Unit Standard.
