National Diploma in Cranes: Mobile, Tower

The Diplomas are intended for people who have previously gained the National Certificate in Crane Operation (Mobile) or (Tower) and now wish to enhance their skills.

These qualifications are designed to provide recognition of the knowledge and skills required to function at a senior operational level in the crane industry.

The core compulsory standards recognise the essential safety and operational skills required by all senior operational positions. The strand recognises the specialist skills required for inspection, transportation and fault diagnostics of either mobile or tower cranes.

The qualifications can lead to the national Diploma in Cranes (Management)

National Diploma in Cranes: Management

This Diploma is intended for people who have previously gained one of the following qualifications:

• National Certificate in Crane Operation (Mobile), (Overhead) or (Tower);
• National Certificate in Cranes (Mobile Crane Supervision)
• National Certificate in Cranes (Mobile Crane Dispatch Supervision)
• National Certificate in Cranes (Tower Crane Supervision)

This qualification is designed to provide recognition of the knowledge and skills required by graduates to function at a senior management level within the crane industry.

The standards recognise the fundamental management skills required by those in senior management roles to maintain optimal performance from both staff and resources. These roles embrace both Tower and Mobile Cranes.
